BMW / MINI / Rolls-Royce Coverage: 1996–2025BMM V4.0 arrives pre-installed with BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce diagnostic software. You can also download two additional supported vehicle make groups free of charge, giving one scanner coverage for three vehicle groups.
BMM V4.0 sends active commands directly to supported modules so you can verify component response in real time. iCarsoft advertises 21+ active tests across onboard systems, with coverage continuing to grow through software updates.
BMM V4.0 adds advanced BMW-focused ECU coding capability. iCarsoft highlights comprehensive ECU coverage for BMW models manufactured from approximately 2006 onward, spanning E-Chassis, F-Chassis and G-Chassis applications.

BMM V4.0 includes lifetime free software upgrades delivered wirelessly over Wi-Fi. iCarsoft states there are no annual subscription fees, renewals or software-update paywalls for the included software.
CAN-FD support provides communication capability for supported newer BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce applications using Flexible Data-rate CAN.
AutoVIN can automatically identify supported BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles. Manual vehicle selection remains available when AutoVIN is not supported by a particular ECU protocol.

Beyond Engine, ABS, Airbag/SRS and Transmission, BMM V4.0 provides diagnostic access to supported additional electronic systems for fault codes, live data, active tests, adaptations and available service procedures.
Standard 16-pin OBD2 coverage applies to supported BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce models from 2001 onward. Many older BMWs use the round BMW diagnostic connector and require the optional iCarsoft 20-pin BMW adapter, sold separately.
