What is the major advantage over VOL V3.0?
V4.0 moves to a larger touchscreen Android platform, Wi-Fi updating and adds two downloadable vehicle groups.
Does an AutoVIN failure mean the scanner is defective?
No. AutoVIN support is vehicle dependent; manual vehicle selection can still be used.
Why might a code return after clearing?
If the underlying fault remains, the control module can set the DTC again. Repair the cause before treating code clearing as a fix.
