Command the Component and See Whether It Responds
Instead of replacing a component based only on a fault code, an active test sends a command from the scanner to the ECU. The ECU then drives the supported actuator, allowing the technician to observe its response and related data.

Command the supported cooling fan to run and verify operation.
Fuel Pump Test

Simple Handheld Operation
The rugged button-operated interface includes dedicated F1, F2 and F3 function keys, Back, directional controls, Enter and Help. The F3 key is also used for recording supported diagnostic data.
Setup options include Language, Unit of Measure, Buzzer, LOG, Clear Data and Factory Data Reset. The Help menu provides operating information, while the About screen identifies device/software information.
